On January 25, Windser played a lovely set at the House of Blues Voodoo Room, despite having gotten stitches in his hand only hours before. Windser is the solo project of Santa Cruz native Jordan Topf; his debut EP Where the Redwoods Meet the Sea is inspired by his early life growing up there. It’s a lovely set of melancholic indie rock tunes that translated well to live performance.
